Job Description : VP STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT UAEAll Departments’ Heads of the CompanyConcerned Departments’ Heads of the Parent CompanyConcerned Governmental stakeholdersInvestors and expected clientsExternal Consultants and AdvisorsExternal Management ConsultantsExternalLegal ConsultantsObjectives and Role ProfileDevelop the Ports Cluster’s vision and mission statements, ensuring that such statements are communicated to and understood by all employees, reviewing the vision and mission statements, and ensuring that changes are made to each, as needed.Facilitate the development of the overarching Ports Cluster strategy and leading the cascading across the organization, driving its execution and monitoring performanceEstablish governance frameworks on strategy implementation and progress which will be presented to the CEO and BOD.Define objectives, frameworks, and metrics for the strategic planning and implementation process, and establish ownerships and timelines.Monitor strategy execution of special projects and other initiatives according to highly defined standards.Support the development and execution of individual division/department strategies, ensuring alignment with approved Cluster and Group strategiesEnsure alignment with AD Ports Group Corporate Strategy and liaise with Ports Cluster Senior Management to ensure required adjustments are proposed and executed as requiredDevelop and implement investment strategies (building and managing investment portfolios) and perform analytic side of Development investment.Key Tasks and Performance IndicatorsAll Departments’ Heads of the CompanyTo align on Corporate andBusiness Strategy andVisionTo execute the excellenceroadmapTo understand and fulfillresearch needsTo understand their needs and lead the team to support their needsQualifications/Experience/CompetenciesMaster’s degree in Business and management or relatedfield (ports, airports, shipping line, logistics or airline experiencepreferred)15 years+ management experience with at least 7-10 years in corporate strategy, performance management, transformation and/or program management.Project management experience required, PMP/PRNCE2 certification is a plusStrong background and experience in corporate strategy development and execution as well as business transformationHaveexperience in conducting feasibility studies, business valuations anddue-diligence exercises, CAPM certification is a plus
