From hospitality to multifamily, single-family build-to-rent to student, senior, and affordable housing to condo, coop, and HOA communities, our flexible platform, premium smart devices, customizable logic, and open APIs can accommodate a myriad of uses.Position Summary:As a Product Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and enhancement of INTEREL product/s portfolio. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Marketing to ensure successful product launches and ongoing improvements. The product portfolio includes Room Management solutions with controllers and custom glass panels, Thermostat products and a cloud-hosted software platform, 3 rd
party APIs, and all tools (presales, configuration, commissioning, and installer). Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment will be essential in this role.Duties and Responsibilities include:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in the development and execution of product strategies.Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential areas for product improvement.Support the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps and feature backlogs.Assist in gathering and documenting product requirements from stakeholders.Develop clear and concise technical documentation, including user manuals, product guides, and release notes.Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into user-friendly documentation.Ensure that all documentation adheres to industry standards, is accessible, and meets the needs of the target audience.Revise and update documentation as needed, including responding to user feedback and product changes.Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams.Act as a bridge between product development teams and end-users, ensuring that technical information is communicated in an understandable manner.A)Research and Analysis Research and analyze market conditions.
Identify key competitors.
Articulate market requirements and opportunities.
Identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements from customers.
Collaborate with R&D on technical feasibility.
Assist the senior management team in defining product strategy.
Support the product team with the establishment of an overall product and technology portfolio strategy that will drive the long-term growth of the organization.
Contribute to the development of pricing strategies and product policies and evaluate ROI and strategic fit regularly.
Support with written documentation the communication of strategy and product positioning with investors, partners, and customers, ensuring alignment with value proposition. C)Product Development Prepare product requirement documents including market requirements, use cases, and user stories in a clear and concise manner to drive product execution into R&D.
Develop detailed specifications for products, including non-functional aspects such as pricing, engineering for production aspects, security, quality, and reliability, in close collaboration and with active support from engineering resources from R&D and production.
Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
Monitor execution and report on progress, manage unknowns and risks, and serve as Product Owner during the R&D phase.
Support with the successful launch and handover to Sales Technical Delivery teams. D)Product Marketing Support sales and marketing with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise.
Develop sales tools and sales training material.
Support marketing with the creation of marketing plan.
Collaborate with Sales, Account, Channel & Business Development to define effective sales and implementation channels for all products.
Establish effective relationships with the sales force with leadership, training, pricing, and positioning expertise.
Establish and maintain relationships with integration partners around integration requirements, product roadmap, release of integration, training, and documentation exchange. E)Customer and End-User Support Co-ordinate market research to track customer and end-user feedback.
Use market feedback to inform product refinements and ongoing development. Organizational Fit Works closely with R&D project managers on product requirements and specifications.
Works closely with Product Manager & Product Owner (CEO) to translate product strategy and product requirements into specifications.
Works with cross-functional members of the R&D team on feasibility and execution.
Works closely with Senior Management on roadmap planning and validation.
Works closely with Technical delivery and solution engineering team on gathering field response and knowledge transfer sessions. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a technology or software development environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset.
