With a commitment to delivering sustainable solutions, we are dedicated to designing and implementing innovative water and wet utilities infrastructure to meet the region's growing demands.Position: Senior Engineer - Water Infrastructure DesignWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer specializing in water infrastructure design to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading the design and implementation of various water and wet utilities projects across the Middle East region. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of sustainable water infrastructure solutions that address the unique challenges faced in the region.Your RoleLead and manage the design and development of water infrastructure network projects, including but not limited to stormwater drainage, sewerage systems, potable water networks, and chilled water systems. Conduct detailed feasibility studies, site investigations, and hydraulic modeling to assess project requirements and constraints. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, urban planners, and environmental engineers to ensure integrated design solutions. Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff within the water infrastructure team. Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges and uncertainties. Monitor project progress, budget, and quality assurance throughout all stages of the project lifecycle. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in water infrastructure design and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.Experience in the design and implementation of water infrastructure projects, preferably in the Middle East region.Proven track record in designing wet utilities networks, including stormwater drainage, sewerage systems, potable water distribution, and chilled water systems.Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as EPANET, SWMM, or similar tools.Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations, including ASCE, ASTM, AWWA, and local regulatory requirements in the Middle East.Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects on time and within budget.Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.Proactive problem-solving attitude with a focus on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.Middle East experience with engineering consultancies.
