A leading retail group in the UAE is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to fill in an exciting and challenging General Manager role and drive the business growth of a rapidly expanding health and beauty retail chain within the GCC region. This role will be based in Dubai, UAE.As the General Manager, your role will include the following:* Develop and implement improved retail standards within the business* Ensure that all business targets and objectives are reached* Keep the business costs within the approved budgets* Drive the achievement of all KPIs* Ensure that all stores are offering the best product mix and are always up to operational standards* Support the expansion of the band within the GCC region, conduct feasibility studies on new projects and locations* Keep updated of the latest market trends and competitors activitiesTo qualify for the General Manager role, you must have the following skills and experience:* Substantial experience in a similar general management role within the retail industry, preferably with a pharmacy/health and beauty background* Preferably with UAE work experience and an existing network of contacts within the industry* Good communication and interpersonal skills* Strong business acumen* Excellent man management abilitiesThis is an exciting opportunity with a guaranteed excellent package that awaits the successful candidate.
