An MBA would be advantageous.• 5-10 years’ experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive level staff• International experience as a CFO from both a financial control and strategic development point of view• Proven track record of developing and implementing financial management strategies• The ability to influence and motivate a team• Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills• Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills• Excellent written and oral communication skills, native English speaker preferred
Job ScopeReporting to the CEO and President, the chosen candidate will be part of the organization’s senior executive team and will be responsible for the overall financial management of the organization. His/her duties will be as follows:1. Strategic PlanningAs a business partner to the CEO, President and COO, the CFO will• Assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and the organisation’s long-term strategy• Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the COO and CEO and make actionable recommendations on the organisation’s strategy and operations• Oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in line with the organisation’s strategic plan• Participate in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, the organisation’s operating model and operational execution2. Financial Planning and Analysis• Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports; weekly/ monthly cash flow forecasts and weekly/ monthly profit and loss statements• Complete analysis of financial results and thereafter develop recommendations for the business• Develop and execute analysis of various business initiatives• Coordinate the development and monitoring of budgets• Control and maintain the financial books to the highest level to ensure accurate statutory and IFRS reporting within all entities of the organisation3. Finance• Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed• Oversee cash, investment, and asset management• Oversee financing strategies and activities, as well as banking relationships• Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization’s operations and business plans• Responsible for reporting on divisional financial performance and provi
