Resource Management
Serve as the key point of contact between Practice Leaders and the Professional Services department, for all matters related to resource allocation requirements for each account and project.Strategize and support in optimizing utilization percentage of the Professional Services team.Leveraging feedback and insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO framework.Maintaining accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.Sole owner in managing the resourcing forecast module in the designated system (Professional Service Automation or Project Management tool).Work with departments to resource and assist in the identification and management of vendors and facilitate initial discussions necessary to meet specific project requirements.Identify potential resourcing or process issues and present to Professional Services Management team with resolutions to such issues where applicable.Collaborate extensively with PMO Lead, Technical Leads and Pre-Sales teams to accurately estimate man-days required for new Professional Service projects.Proficient in generating and sharing detailed weekly and monthly utilization reports, highlighting resource allocation metrics and efficiencies achieved.Active engagement and contribution to internal projects as required.
Planning and Reporting
Maintain clear and consistent communication with Project Managers and team leaders regarding resource availability, allocation, and potential issues.Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing.Continuously monitor resource utilization across projects, making necessary adjustments to address any imbalances or shortages.Regularly report on resource utilization, efficiency, and challenges to upper management, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
Governance
Ensure that all resource requests and allocations adhere to company policies and procedures.Recommending an improvement to resourcing processes and strategies based on insights and trends.Monitor day to day project activities and resourcing, identifying potential instances of underutilization and actively work with the Practice Leaders to address and solve those issues.Alert PMO & Senior Management team of any potential concerns or issues that impact meeting key client deliverables due to resourcing.Act as point of contact for resource booking confirmation, conflict resolution, and propose solutions that support business goals.
Job SpecificationEducationBachelor's degree in information technology or any related fieldProfessional CertificationCertified Project Management ProfessionalCloud Certifications (Preferred)Knowledge
SharePoint, MS Teams, MS OfficeStrong understanding of Jira, MS Project, and other Planning toolsTableau or Power BIStrong knowledge and experience across multiple technology platforms, including on premise and private cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud etc.)
Experience
Proven experience in resource management or a similar role.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.Proficient in resource management tools and software.Excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities.
