Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for a talented and experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Dubai and play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization's information assets.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing various security solutions to protect our critical infrastructure and data. You will work closely with other security professionals to identify and mitigate potential threats, ensuring a robust and secure environment.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities:

  • Manage security awareness platforms:
    • Implement and maintain security awareness programs for employees.
    • Develop engaging training materials and conduct security awareness workshops.
    • Track and measure the effectiveness of security awareness programs.
  • Manage brand protection platforms:
    • Monitor the internet for unauthorized use of our brand assets.
    • Investigate and respond to potential trademark infringement and brand abuse.
    • Collaborate with legal teams to take appropriate action against offenders.
  • Manage 3rd party risk assessment platforms:
    • Evaluate the security posture of our third-party vendors and partners.
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
    • Maintain and update third-party risk management databases.
  • Perform other security-related tasks as needed:
    • Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities.
    • Implement and maintain security controls.
    • Respond to security incidents and investigate potential breaches.
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a cyber security role.
  • Experience in managing security awareness platforms, brand protection platforms, and 3rd party risk assessment platforms.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
