Over the last 20 years, Give has partnered with hundreds of companies
from large ones like ICICI, HDFC, TCS, Google, Microsoft, Amex, KPMG, Coca-Cola to new age start-ups like Flipkart, Ola, Myntra and others
to shape the employee giving narrative across India. When COVID hit India, we launched the India COVID Response Fund (ICRF) and partnered with various institutions globally to deploy over 800 Crores of Give Grants (CSR, Foundation Grants & Employee Giving). Building upon this work, Give launched its Give Grants platform in late 2021 with the objective to make Institutional Giving bigger and better.
We believe that India needs Give Grants at significant scale, and with far better impact outcomes to solve for India
s SDG challenges and investment gap. Based on our experience of Covid Relief, where we rapidly created opportunities and solutions for mobilizing and effectively deploying hundreds of crores, we believe we can be an end to end giving partner for institutions spanning strategy, design, deployment, compliance and impact assurance.
We also believe that there are significant opportunities to not just drive more effective usage of funds earmarked for the social impact sector, but also to bring in additional funds by creating leverage opportunities. We do this already through our collective (multi donor) programs; crowdfunding, workplace giving and fundraiser models and each of these can be scaled further.
Our go to market strategy for Give Grants has three components in the near term -
sharp focus on CSR giving in India - build deep relationships with CSR decision makers and provide services for grant management, program management, impact reporting and CSR advisory. A 15 member India based team is executing this strategy.

This platform, combined with our services, has enabled us to become an end to end partner for give grants . Role :
We are building one of the world's best tech platforms for CSR, where we provide opportunities for people to donate to any cause, non-profit or geography that they care about, in the most simple, personalized and effective manner. We scale our impact on the lives of millions of underprivileged people every year through our workplace giving, subscription giving, institutional giving and crowdfunding products. Give is looking for an experienced and motivated DevOps professional to be an integral part of its cloud infrastructure team. As a DevOps Engineer, you must be able to troubleshoot infrastructure issues, design, implement, and deploy DevOps tools, collaborate with other engineering team members to improve the existing cloud infrastructure and develop new engineering / DevOps tools, optimize company's cloud architecture, design and conduct security, performance, availability tests.
Responsibilities :
This is a highly accountable role and the candidate must meet the following professional expectations.
Owning and improving the scalability and reliability of our products. Working directly with product, engineering and infrastructure teams. Designing and developing various monitoring system tools. Accountable for developing deployment strategies and building configuration management. Deploying and updating system and application software. Develop tooling and processes to drive and improve customer experience, and create playbooks. Ensure regular, effective communication with team members and cross-functional resources. Maintain a positive and supportive work culture. First point of contact for handling customer (usually internal stakeholders) issues, providing guidance and recommendations to increase efficiency and reduce any incidents. Intelligently migrate services from one AWS region to other AWS regions. Create, implement and maintain security policies to ensure ISO/GDPR/SOC/PCI compliance. Verify infrastructure automation meets compliance goals and disaster recovery plans. Evangelize configuration management and automation to other product developers. Keep themselves updated with upcoming technologies to build & maintain the state-of-the-art infrastructure.
Requirements:
4+ years of proven experience working in a DevOps environment. 4+ years of proven experience working in AWS Cloud environments. A solid understanding of Kubernetes and docker containerization is a must. Experience with infrastructure tools/frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, CFEngine, etc. Experience in scripting or programming languages (Bash, Python, PHP, Node.js, Perl, etc.) Experience designing and building web application environments on AWS, including services such as EKS, ECS, ECR, Foregate, Lambda, SNS / SQS, CloudFront, Code Build, Code pipeline, Configuring CloudWatch, WAF, Active Directories, Kubernetes (EKS), EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, Redshift etc. Hands-on in logging, monitoring and alerting tools like ELK, Grafana, Metabase, Monit, Zabbix etc. Strong Knowledge in DBs such as MongoDB / MySQL / DynamoDB / Redis / Cassandra / Elasticsearch. Experience with Open Source and tools such as Haproxy, Apache, Nginx and Nagios etc. Fluency with version control systems with a preference for Git. Solid understanding of networking and security best practices. Strong Linux-based infrastructures, and Linux administration. Experience working in an Agile, fast-paced, DevOps environment. A team player capable of high performance, flexibility in a dynamic working environment and the ability to lead. Skill and ability to train others on technical and procedural topics. Ability to work under high pressure and minimum supervision.
