Discover the life that awaits you at Accor, visit what you love, care for the world, dare to challenge the status quo #BELIMITLESS" Job Description Primary ResponsibilitiesSecurity OperationTrain Security Officers in the operation of surveillance equipment, written reports, record keeping, patrol and first aid proceduresDisseminate all information by the Management to team membersConduct patrols and regular checks on all Security Officers to assure that they are alert and discharging their duties efficiently and effectivelyConduct all criminal investigations, put up accompanying investigation papers and reports cases which occur within the HotelConduct surveillance on hotel staff to ensure that they abide by the House Rules; Keep tag on movements of staff who are classified as suspects under investigationsControl and direct all emergency personnel traffic in response to fire, bomb threat, police assistance, injury or illnessInspect all Security equipment to ensure that they are in working order and that all cameras are correctly focusedConduct routine day-to-day checks of the following items to ensure that they are properly maintained, issued and accounted for;Security Desk Occurrence Book;Gate Passes and Security Passes;Keys and Key Registers;Post allocation for hotel and External SecurityCultivate Informers with the intention of obtaining information of security interest that may be of immediate or future use to the Department for prevention and detection purposesRecord all activities involving the Department in the Daily Security ReportProvide security coverage for VIP guestsUpdate Director of Security constantly on all matters of security interest affecting the Hotel and the DepartmentAlways be on-call, including off-duty hours, for any emergency that may Team ManagementConduct performance review with the teamIdentify and develop team members with potentialConstantly monitor team members’ appearance, attitude and degree of professionalismConduct detailed induction programs for new employeesDevelop, conduct maintain all staff training programs for team members, focusing on their development needs, providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the businessPrepare weekly staff schedules keeping in mind anticipated business, operating budgets and standards of service Other ResponsibilitiesBe fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency proceduresComply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all timesAttend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by managementReport for duty on time wearing clean and complete uniform at all timesMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel Qualifications ProfileKnowledge and ExperienceSecondary / High school educationCertificates in National Skills Recognition System, CPR, First Aid Management and Basic Fire FightingMinimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacityGood reading, writing and oral proficiency in English languageNo criminal recordStrong leadership, interpersonal and training skillsHonest with a high level of integrityAbility to remain calm and react fast to situationsResults and service oriented with an eye for detailsAbility to multi-task, work well in stressful & high-pressure situationsA team player & builderWell-presented and professionally groomed at all times Additional Information Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.Discover a world where life pulses with passionDiversity&Inclusionfor Accor means welcoming each and everyoneandrespecting their differences by giving priority only to qualities andskills in extending employment and development opportunities.
