Job SummaryReports directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing marketing and digital strategies to enhance the company’s market penetration throughout the Middle East. Overseeing all marketing and digital initiatives and lead ongoing development and analysis to improve customer insights, strengthen customer acquisitions and retention efforts, improve targeted market campaigns, and drive cost-effective strategic business initiatives.The Marketing Specialist should have superior organizational skills, leadership qualities, multi-tasking skills, interpersonal skills, creativity and innovation. The Marketing Specialist should deliver a remarkable brand experience for our clients, reinforce client-to-business relations, enhance our organization's image, aid business growth, and deliver events that meet objectives and exceed expectations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMarketing plan/campaigns:Develop & execute marketing and digital plans for all campaigns, promotions, and branding events, based on KPI/objectives set by the company and centralize digital retail team, the business needs and ad hoc requests from Executive levelsCommunicating key objectives and tasks, in order to successfully execute the implementation of marketing campaignsSupport in creating the yearly campaigns calendar to be in line with the regional calendar while maintaining local relevanceMaintain and manage existing vendor relationships and expand base by researching and utilizing own resources to locate potential partnershipsMarketing budget:Provide a breakdown of the annual Marketing budget by allocating appropriate funds amongst the yearly scheduled campaigns, based on the seasonality of sales and forecasts, and other associated variablesMarketing calendar content/strategy & Markdown planning:Partner with 3rd parties to develop the content and strategy for the annual Marketing Calendar; Converse with key partners such as Buyers, Public Relations, social media, Website & Creative, and Advertising to ensure that all aspects of the marketing mix (price, product, promotion, and place) are defined and appropriately integrated to meet the goals and objectives of the business2Partner with the existing clientele for data for the planning of markdowns and ad hoc promotions and to identify opportune timing of action and underperforming products and services that require endorsementCollaborate with sales team to communicate key product focuses and timing of promotionsMarketing communications:Provide marketing and consumer insights to ensure that all communication created on a brand level are locally relevantEnsure that all communications created on the local level are following the overall brand identity and on point with the regional marketing and communication strategyMembership:Assist in the development and implementation of the membership marketing & sales plan and enrollment and retention strategies and member eventsEnsure that an excellent rapport is established with new members in order to receive referrals. Thereby achieving membership enrollment targetsEstablish database and maintain accurate records of members and prospective members for effective communication and promotion of company activities for both members and publicRepresent the company in community activities and organizations to provide community awareness of the company and develop sources for prospective membersAssists with the creation, organizations and hosting of member events to attract and retain membersAssists CEO & other Top Management with the coordination of protocol associated with the visits of VVIP Members & GuestsSkills:Commercial awareness, must have a strong understanding of Key Performance Indicators and how it pertains to the success of marketing activitiesAnalytical Skills, Problem Solving Skills, Excellent Communication SkillsAgile and adaptable - able to thrive in rapidly growing businessProvide quantitative and qualitative reports using data from market studiesStrategic vision - able to create a marketing strategy and initiatives that align with group strategy and goalsA creative, innovative approachMinimum Qualifications & Experience:
Master’s degree or Bachelor in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field or equivalent commercial experienceMinimum 10 years’ experience in hospitality and / or sports facilities environmentExperience in an integrated Private or Semi-Private Resort and Country Club or Sports Club with both Membership and Public access in a senior leadership roleMinimum 5 years’ UAE experience Commercial Marketing experience, gained in a managerial role, with a proven track record of implementing and sustaining market developments; Retail Marketing experience is preferredExcellent leadership skills with experience of driving performance in teamsAbility to provide honest feedback and constructive criticism to the teamBilingual in Arabic & English, Female preferredAside from the fixed monthly + commission depending on target
