Our client is a law firm that handles all types of property damage insurance claims, business litigation disputes, and personal injury matters. We have an immediate need for a First Party Property Associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic and growing firmThe associate attorney position will support the lead attorneys by assisting with gathering, analyzing, and organizing information; drafting legal pleadings, discovery, deposition attendance and summaries, drafting and reviewing responses and motions, trial preparations and other documents. Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with lead attorneys and support staffInterview clients; locate and interview expert witnessesDraft legal documents including but not limited to: discovery, motions, summary judgment motions, appellate briefs, affidavits, memoranda, and lettersInvestigate factual information to respond to litigation discovery requests or other information inquiriesAssist in all phases of case preparation, including discovery and trialPrepare for trial, including, but not limited to: providing trial support and attendanceDemonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues (e.g. attorney-client privileged materials)Travel throughout the state as required to meet business needsDemonstrate exceptional legal research and writing skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflowStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team environmentAbility to effectively communicate with clients, staff and team membersStrong communication, persuasion and negotiation skills to represent client and company interests in litigation situationsBilingual in Spanish is a plus Experience & Qualifications: Current TN Bar License and in Good StandingJ.D. degree from an accredited law schoolAt least 3 5 years of experience in First Party Property damage insurance claims, business litigation disputes, or personal injury matters - Plaintiff side401(k) & matchingPaid time offSchedule: Monday to Friday / Hybrid WFH is available Compensation: Competitive Annual Base Salary commensurate with experienceBonus pay as a % of settlement feesTop Reasons to choose us:Excellent professional, financial and personal growth opportunitiesCulture- Laid back, true collaboration with team members.Independence Firm leadership does not micro manage.Resources Ample firm resources to support their attorneys
