If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Ruby or Python, we’d like to meet you.Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately and securely.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild code to provision the full stack from infrastructure through to applicationDeploying, automating, maintaining, and managing DevOps infrastructure, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of the infrastructureBuild CI/CD pipelines to orchestrate the promotion of codeEnsure that all operational responsibilities are performed including monitoring systems and deploying releasesSupport development changes, providing accurate estimates for time and capital costs, attending project meetings, and analysing impact for proposed project work and meeting deadlinesWork closely with the Agile team to ensure operational requirements are met and changes impacted and implementedTroubleshooting and problem solving across the DevOps infrastructure.Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvementsEvaluate new technology options and vendor productsWork in cloud technologies and porting existing systems to cloud and automate them.Automation of build, integrate and test cycles related to the product.Implement our technical roadmap as we scale our services and build new productsAdvocate and evangelise best practice engineeringHave familiarity with security and operational best practicesWorking in a modern, agile environmentIdentifies, prioritises, and executes tasks in the software development life cycleDevelops tools and applications by producing clean, efficient codeCommunicates with clarity, precision, and influence, presenting complex information in a concise format that is audience appropriateSkills RequiredWork experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role with minimum of 5 years experience.Good knowledge of Ruby or PythonWorking knowledge of databases and SQLProblem-solving attitudeTeam spiritBSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant fieldKey BenefitsFlexible schedule and hoursVirtual Learning and Development opportunitiesLearning to work in a fast paced environmentDiverse, inclusive and equitable culture We’re looking to hire happy, ambitious and highly motivated people...
