Job Title:Completion ManagerDepartment:Commissioning & CompletionsSection:Completions & Project CloseoutReporting, Interaction Lines & Operating Environment:Functionally reports to COO Completion DirectorOperationally reports to Senior Completion ManagerSupervises Completion Team Leader Lead / Senior / Completion EngineerWorking relationships:Should be of a flexible nature to maintain a good level of relation with commissioning team members, with PMT members and with Client commissioning team members.Operating Environment:Office-basedMay require site visitsJob Purpose:Jobs at this level are responsible for creating an atmosphere conducive to achieving effective management and co-ordination of Completion activities directed towards the development of Completion preparation and effective project Completion management.Principal Accountabilities:
Act as a functional head of Completion with overall responsibility for commercial and technical performance, ensuring quality standards and application of established proceduresProvide inputs for annual manpower and resources budget, and monitor performance to ensure activities are appropriately supported and within approved levelsProvide inputs for Quality Management procedures to guide and direct the achievement of Completion objectivesProvide inputs for tender inputs and manpower estimates developed by tendering teamPrepare and deliver presentations to clients, apprising them of any particular features, clarifying issues and resolving queriesProvide technical expertise for troubleshooting Completion problems at early stagesInvestigate the possibility of introducing new or improved methods of electronic automation of Completion functions, ensuring compatibility with existing systemsRecruit, motivate and develop staff to ensure the function is staffed with individuals of the required calibre and that adequate succession planning and provision for future demand existCarry out staff appraisals
Compliance:In accordance with HSE StandardEducational Qualifications & Certifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in a relevant discipline, or equivalentMinimum 12 years of relevant work experience in similar industriesCompetencies:
Proven management track recordOrganisational awarenessPlanning & organising skillsHighly motivatedPresentation skillsInfluencing skillsUnderstanding of Completion disciplinesKnowledge of ICAPS or similar Completion softwareGood written and spoken EnglishGood technical knowledge and skillsGood Communication skills
