The award-winning hotel has multiple venues for inspiring events including the grand Godolphin Ballroom and 16 meeting rooms.Aboutthe Job:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Supervisor in the Engineering Department to join Jumeirah Emirates Towers. The main duties are:To be responsible for conducting In-house Fire Life and Safety Monthly inspections such as Ladders, PPEs, Fire alarm system, Emergency lighting system, LPG leak detection system FM 200 drenching systems, fire pumps and all other fire protection systems etc., and preparation of safety inspection reports.Handling, maintaining, and attending to all fire safety audits, insurance audits, HACCP audits, and surveys related to Fire Life and Safety and Building condition.Manage operations, safety audits and safety checks and report on a regular basis the progress of the closure of Identified gaps.Insuring and tracking so no test is missed out from the FLS Matrix.Establishment and Management of the HSE Management system documentation.Arranging defects rectification jobs as per the reports from the inspection’s bodies.Attending Handling, and maintaining all audits such as Insurance audits, External fire safety audits, HACCP audits, Dubai Civil defence Surveys related to Fire Life and Safety, building condition, and coordinating to take necessary actions on time and updating the group engineering.Insuring and tracking of all Fire Life and safety inspections so no tests are missed out from the Matrix and ensure no discrepancies in the Fire life & safety inspection for JBH for e.g. tracking of the following tests as a matter of Life safety and legal requirements.About you:Any Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC)Health and safety certifiedMinimum of 5 Years experience in a supervisory role in a 5-star hotelExperienced in Fire & Life safety systems.Knowledge of HVAC Systems and Electrical systemsKnowledge in Legionella management and controlsMiddle east experienceAbout the benefits:Besides generous F&B benefits and reduced hotel rates across our hotels globally, this role has excellent employee benefits making the role attractive to high performers and any applicant who like to associate her/himself with one of the most luxurious brand in the hospitality industry.Provide guests a unique and outstanding experience.
