Job SummaryAs an Assistant Outlet Manager, you are responsible for assisting to manage all activities within the restaurant and bar, to ensure optimum results are achieved across all areas of the restaurant and bar, in line with Departmental targets, policies and procedures.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupervise good Guest service and serve Guests according to hotel standard to ensure Guest satisfaction.Identify training needs and propose training plans in correlation with outlet manager to maintain professionalism.Plan and conduct on and off job training regularly to achieve service standard and knowledge of staff.Attend daily briefing or meetings and ensure proper communication down to team to ensure Guest inquiries.Monitor sales and cost of outlet and trend of ongoing promotions.Contribute new promotional ideas to increase Guest covers and revenue.Analyse and enhance performance across all aspects of the outlet operation.Reviewing financial statements to ensure that costs are within budget parameters.Work with Executive Chef and Catering Manager to develop menus, ensure food quality, and optimize profits.Resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.Adhere to all state and local liquor laws.Perform opening and closing duties, such as stocking supplies, setting up bar, and cleaning equipment.Prepare financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets.Monitor duty roster on weekly basis to meet operation needs.Resolve Guests’ complaints directly or consult with Outlet Manager to maintain Guest satisfaction.Train personal grooming standards and monitor the weekly checklist to keep a professional appearance.Monitor hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet and upkeep of all service equipment as per hotel standard.Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment.Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements Preferably Mexican National, with minimum 2 years of Experience in Supervisory position.Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management Understanding Hotel OperationsPlanning for BusinessCustomer Focus Effective Communication Teamwork Supervising People Supervising Operations Adaptability Drive for Results
