A Fantastic Opportunity has arisen for a well known Contractor based in Abu Dhabi. My client has been established since the 1970's and is a leader in the Construction Industry. Due to new project awards and growth, my client is now looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The QS will be working on multiple projects in the Banking, Healthcare and Airport sectors. The value will be circa 400 million AED.As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be reporting directly to the Commercial Manager and your duties will include;•Working knowledge of cost control, budgeting, planning and handling of contractual terms & conditions•Pre Contract Documentation including Cost Estimates, Cost Plans, Tender Documents, Tender Analysis an negotiations.•Post Contract services including evaluation of interim payments, preparation of tender packages for provisional sums, evaluation of contractor\'s variations, and other commercial issues.•Compute final pay quantities.•Prepare Monthly Financial Affairs Report•Prepare and Maintain Interim and Final QuantityBooks•Evaluate unit rates for new items of works•Monthly financial reporting to Board and Senior Mangement level•Assist in evaluating claims
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years experience and be Degree Qualified from the UK or other Western countries. In addition to this my client is looking for someone who has come from another established contractor in the Middle East and will already reside in Abu Dhabi.This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person, who is looking to work for a forward thinking company.
