We are hiring suitable candidate for the post of a Desktop Support Engineer in Dubai. Candidate who are interested can send CV. Job Details: Provide technical support across a mixed OS environment with end-users of varying technical abilities. Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners. Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks. Testing new technology Set up new users' accounts and profiles and deal with password issues. Assist Systems Administrator and Network Administrator when required for their day to day operational requirements. Attend calls from Help Desk for end-user first level support. Documentation all user calls with proper communication with Supervisor. Execute Periodic (daily, weekly & monthly) Backups. Assisting dept. secretary for periodical Hardware / Software inventory. Screens all users' calls on Help Desk number and forwards to appropriate staff member. Suggested enhancements in Hardware for local and Network systems. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science /Computer Engineering. Three to five years experience in the similar role. Effective communication by gathering data about problems, prepare detailed notes and reports, and walk users through the steps they can take to resolve software and hardware issues. Excellent time management skills and should be able to set priorities when handling multiple cases. Excellent technical (Windows7, Windows10, Office 365) and computer skills.
