Position: Data Centre OperatorLocation: Dubai, UAEExperience Required: 5-10 YearsContract Duration: 12 Months + Extendable, OnsiteNotice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Roles &

Responsibilities:
Data Centre Operations

Perform day-to-day operational support and monitoring of data centre infrastructure. Monitor servers, network equipment, racks, power, cooling, environmental conditions, and other critical infrastructure. Perform physical checks and inspections of data centre equipment and facilities. Install, rack, stack, cable, label, and decommission servers, switches, routers, and other network equipment. Perform hardware installation, replacement, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Assist with server and network equipment deployments, upgrades, relocations, and removals. Manage and maintain structured cabling and ensure proper cable labelling and organization. Monitor equipment alarms and environmental alerts and escalate critical issues promptly. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and operational checks. Coordinate with data centre vendors, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and technical activities.

Manage physical access procedures for data centre areas and ensure compliance with security requirements. Support equipment delivery, receiving, inventory, asset tagging, and equipment disposal activities. Maintain accurate records of racks, equipment, cabling, assets, and data centre activities. Follow data centre change management, incident management, and escalation procedures. Assist with planned maintenance activities and ensure proper coordination to minimize service disruption.

Respond to hardware and infrastructure incidents and coordinate with relevant technical teams for resolution. Follow data centre safety, security, operational, and business continuity procedures. Provide hands‐on support during emergency incidents, system outages, and infrastructure‐related events when required.

Data center operations and facilities support Server and network hardware Rack and stack activities Structured cabling and cable management Switches, routers, and firewalls Server hardware troubleshooting Data center monitoring systems Hardware replacement and preventive maintenance Asset and inventory management Data center access and security procedures Vendor and contractor coordination Incident and change management Basic understanding of power, UPS, cooling, and environmental monitoring Working in a 24/7 or mission‐critical IT environment

Experience working in an enterprise data centre or mission‐critical environment would be a strong advantage
