Daikan Izakaya City Walk a premier destination for Japanese cuisine is seeking a motivated and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic team In this vital role you will ensure that food is delivered promptly and accurately to guests contributing to a seamless dining experienceResponsibilitiesFood DeliveryQuickly and accurately deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the designated tables while ensuring the correct order and presentationCommunicationCollaborate closely with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate food orders and communicate any special requests or allergiesTable MaintenanceAssist in clearing and resetting tables as needed ensuring a clean and inviting dining environmentGuest InteractionProvide excellent customer service by checking on guests and ensuring their satisfaction with their mealsOrganizationKeep the food pickup area organized and clean and ensure that all necessary supplies are readily availableSanitation StandardsAdhere to all health and safety regulations concerning food handling and cleanlinessPrevious experience in a food service role, either as a food runner, server, or similar position.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
