Junior Software Engineer ( Emiratization)TPConnects is a global travel technology company headquartered in Dubai, with offices in Warsaw, Sofia, and remote locations worldwide. We develop innovative, AI-powered travel technology solutions that process millions of airline ticket transactions each month and connect major airlines and travel providers.

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Junior Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. As a Junior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications while collaborating with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are eager to develop their technical skills and build a successful career in software engineering.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain software applications and systems. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software defects.
Participate in code reviews and software testing activities.
Collaborate with senior engineers, business analysts, and project teams to understand requirements.
Support the implementation of new software features and enhancements.
Maintain technical documentation and system specifications.
Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
Ensure adherence to security, quality, and coding standards.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and software development trends.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Professional certifications in software development or programming are an advantage.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Experience0-2 years of experience in software development, programming, or related IT roles.
Internship, academic projects, or hands-on experience in software development will be considered.
Experience with web or application development projects is an advantage.
Technical SkillsProficiency in Java and Spring Boot. Knowledge ofMicroservices Architecture and REST APIs.
Experience withAWS Cloud Services. Strong understanding ofSoftware Engineering Principles, Clean Code, and Testing.
Experience withMySQL or other relational databases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with fluent English (written and spoken).Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
