ContractJob DescriptionAbout the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Tester to join our retail bank's technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our banking applications through comprehensive manual and automated testing processes. The QA Tester will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify defects and ensure that our applications meet user requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure maximum test coverageExecute and evaluate manual and automated test cases to identify defects and issuesCollaborate with developers to reproduce, analyze, and resolve software defectsConduct user acceptance testing to ensure that banking applications meet user requirementsContinuously improve testing processes and strategies to enhance software qualityParticipate in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectivesQualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in QA testing within the banking industryStrong expertise in manual testing, automation testing tools, and user acceptance testingSolid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailEffective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teamsExperience working in an Agile development environment is a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred
