We are urgently looking for an experienced, clean, hygienic and professional Live-In South Indian Cook for a North Indian family.

RequirementsPreferably 3–5 years of professional cooking experience.

Previous experience in a 3-star, 4-star or 5-star hotel, reputed restaurant or high-standard private household is preferred.

Must have very good knowledge of South Indian cooking, including breakfast dishes, curries, vegetables, rice preparations, chutneys, sambar, rasam and other traditional dishes.

Knowledge of North Indian cooking would be an advantage.

Must be able to carefully follow recipes and dietary instructions provided by the family's nutritionist, including ingredients, quantities, portion sizes and cooking methods.

Should be able to prepare healthy, nutritious and well-balanced meals according to the family's dietary requirements.

Must maintain excellent personal hygiene and grooming at all times.

Must keep the kitchen, refrigerator, cooking areas, utensils, appliances and food-storage areas extremely clean, neat, tidy and organised.

Must understand proper food handling, hygiene, storage and prevention of cross-contamination.

Should avoid unnecessary food wastage and maintain proper organisation of groceries and kitchen supplies.

Must be honest, disciplined, punctual, respectful and trustworthy.

Should be willing to follow the family's instructions and adapt cooking according to their preferences.

ImportantThis is a LIVE-IN position. Accommodation and food will be provided in addition to the monthly salary. We are looking for someone who takes cooking quality, cleanliness, personal hygiene and kitchen organisation very seriously. Immediate joining is preferred. Candidates who perform well may be offered a longer-term position with visa sponsorship after the initial 3-month period.
