Optometrist vacancy in Sharjah UAE
Job Description: Optometrist in Sharjah
We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients, including comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fitting, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. The position offers a competitive salary of 1300 AED/month.
The ideal candidate should be certified with a Master's degree in Optometry or other relevant qualifications. We are also ready to consider an immigrant for this role. Previous experience is not a must but it is desirable.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction, ophthalmoscopy, tonometry, and visual field testing.
- Diagnose and treat ocular diseases such as conjunctivitis, glaucoma, cataracts or retinal disease.
- Prescribe glasses or contact lenses when necessary.
- Recommend treatments such as vision therapy or medications.
Skills and Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Optometry or other relevant qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of optometric principles and procedures.
- Ability to build relationships with patients quickly and professionally.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
