GEMS Education requires highly active Physical Education Teachers to lead sports activities, develop athletic skills, and promote a strictly healthy lifestyle among secondary school students.
Daily Academic Tasks:
- Organize massive athletic sports day events, ensuring all running tracks are painted clearly and safety equipment is ready for the student races.
- Coach the official school swimming team during early morning practice sessions before the regular academic classes begin.
- Inspect the heavy gym equipment daily to ensure the climbing ropes and basketball hoops are completely safe for student use without any risk of falling.
- Grade the students fairly based on their teamwork, physical effort, and good sportsmanship rather than just focusing on winning the games.
Rules for Selection:
- Qualifications: A formal Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or a specialized sports science degree is strictly required to pass the KHDA teacher approval process.
- Physical Fitness: Keeping up with highly energetic teenagers across a massive school campus requires exceptional cardiovascular stamina and excellent personal health.
- Safety Focus: Holding a valid pediatric First Aid and CPR certificate to treat sudden sports injuries, twisted ankles, or minor playground falls immediately.
