Job Overview

The Slimming Therapist will provide professional non-invasive slimming, body contouring, and wellness treatments to clients in a clinic or wellness environment. The role involves conducting client consultations, understanding individual body and wellness goals, developing personalized treatment plans, and safely operating approved body-contouring equipment.

The successful candidate will also support clients with general wellness guidance while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, confidentiality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct professional client consultations to understand individual slimming, body contouring, and wellness goals.
• Assess client requirements and develop personalized treatment plans based on the services offered by the clinic.
• Perform non-invasive slimming and body-contouring treatments, including body wraps, ultrasound-based treatments, and laser-based fat-reduction procedures, where appropriately trained and authorized.
• Operate slimming and body-contouring equipment according to manufacturer instructions, clinic protocols, and applicable safety standards.
• Explain treatment procedures, expected processes, aftercare requirements, and relevant precautions to clients.
• Monitor client responses and treatment progress throughout the course of sessions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client treatment records, including consultation details, treatment history, progress notes, and follow-up information.
• Review client progress and recommend appropriate adjustments to treatment plans in coordination with relevant clinic professionals.
• Provide general wellness guidance related to healthy lifestyle habits, nutrition, and supporting products within the scope of the role.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming, and client-focused approach throughout every treatment session.
• Prepare treatment rooms before appointments and ensure equipment and supplies are ready for use.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and equipment safety in treatment areas.
• Clean and care for treatment equipment according to established procedures.
• Follow clinic policies, health and safety requirements, and treatment protocols at all times.
• Protect client privacy and ensure all personal and treatment information is handled confidentially.
• Work collaboratively with other therapists, wellness professionals and clinic staff to provide a smooth client experience.

Desired Experience and Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in slimming, wellness, body contouring, aesthetic clinics, or a related field.
• Certification or professional training in slimming and body-contouring treatments is preferred.
• Educational background in nutrition, wellness, physiotherapy, cosmetology, or a related discipline is an advantage.
• Practical knowledge of non-invasive body-contouring and slimming equipment.
• Understanding of equipment operation and the treatment protocols, hygiene practice and the safety applicable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on client service.
• Ability to conduct consultations and explain treatment procedures clearly and professionally.
• Strong attention to detail when maintaining treatment records and monitoring client progress.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic, wellness, or aesthetic environment.
