Operate groundskeeping machinery, including mowers, tractors, irrigation systems, and other specialized equipment for turf care and landscaping.
Ensure that machinery is used safely and in accordance with operational procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
Conduct regular maintenance checks on all equipment, including routine inspections, cleaning, and reporting any faults or issues to the Grounds Deputy Manager.
Perform minor repairs on equipment when necessary and arrange for professional service when required.

Assist the grounds maintenance team in maintaining sports fields, including turf mowing, grass cutting, and ensuring the correct application of fertilizers, lime, and weed control products.
Support irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any issues with water supply or distribution.
Participate in turf care activities such as fertilization, aeration, and irrigation, ensuring the sports fields are kept in top condition.
Ensure that grass is mowed to the correct height, and areas are kept neat and well-maintained, as per the established maintenance schedules.
Carry out waste removal and ensure that the grounds are clean, including the proper disposal of cut grass, leaves, and other debris.

Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures while operating machinery, ensuring personal and team safety.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
A qualification in horticulture, grounds maintenance, or machinery operation is preferred.

At least 2-3 years of experience in operating grounds maintenance machinery or similar equipment.
Experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or sports turf management is a plus.
Hands-on experience with lawn mowers, tractors, irrigation systems, and other groundskeeping machinery.
Experience with basic maintenance and repairs of machinery is an advantage.

Proficient in operating a variety of grounds maintenance machinery, including mowers, tractors, and irrigation systems.
Knowledgeable in basic maintenance and troubleshooting of groundskeeping equipment.
Familiar with turf management techniques, including mowing, aeration, fertilization, and irrigation.

Ability to work well as part of a team, supporting colleagues to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Dependable and punctual, ensuring tasks are completed on time and with minimal supervision.
