Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the school's vision, values, mission, and strategic priorities.
  • Represent Arabic and MoE subject teams within the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Contribute to school self‑review, SEF, and whole‑school development planning.
  • Support strategic planning, annual School Development Plans, and phase action plans.
  • Lead the development and review of school policies, systems, and procedures.
  • Contribute to whole‑school budgeting, staffing deployment, and resource planning.
  • Drive outstanding teaching, learning, and assessment across the Arabic team.
  • Ensure a broad, balanced, enriched, and compliant Arabic curriculum aligned with MoE standards.
  • Lead CPD initiatives and enhance classroom practice across Arabic and related subjects.
  • Manage the whole‑school Arabic assessment framework, tracking, and reporting cycles.
  • Monitor student attainment, progress, attendance, and behaviour using data‑informed strategies.
  • Moderate assessments and student work to ensure consistency and high standards.
  • Report performance and progress to senior leaders, advisory boards, and stakeholders.
  • Line manage Heads of Department and support leadership development.
  • Ensure compliance with all MoE and KHDA regulations for Arabic and Islamic education.
  • Lead parent partnerships, communication strategies, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute to careers education and future skills development across the school.

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree with a recognised Teaching License.
  • Accredited leadership qualification or active enrolment in a leadership development programme.
  • Proven leadership experience within Arabic and MoE curriculum settings.
  • Strong understanding of competency‑led curriculum frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success in change leadership, innovation, and raising standards.
  • Deep knowledge of high‑quality educational provision and school improvement strategies.
  • Experience working within UAE MoE and KHDA regulatory environments.
  • High levels of drive, energy, resilience, and commitment to student success.
