Data Scientist

Responsible for developing data-driven innovative analytical solutions and identifying opportunities to support business and client needs in a quantitative manner and facilitate informed recommendations/decisions. Activities include developing and creating predictive models, behavioural segmentation frameworks, profitability analyses, ad hoc reporting, and data visualisations.

What you’ll need for Summer Internship

• To be available to work Full-Time between approx. Mid-June to Early-Sept 2024
• A Penultimate Masters / Undergraduate Student, due to graduate between Dec-2024 and Aug-2025
• Bachelor’s degree in Business / Management / Computer Science or Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Business Informatics /MIS with a minimum predicted classification of a UK 2.1 or equivalent GPA of 3.0
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with analytical and problem-solving capability and a strong strategic & conceptual aptitude, whilst being customer centric.
• Passionate to learn and seek knowledge about Business Analysis / Payments/ Software Development Life Cycle / Agile and Scrum
• English Language skills to a professional standard
• Arabic Language skills to a professional standard

Corporate Security Responsibility

• Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices
• Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;
• Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and
• Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
