Steel Fitter and carpenter

- Fabricate and assemble structural steel components according to blueprints and engineering specifications, ensuring precise measurements and structural integrity.
- Perform welding, cutting, and grinding operations on various steel types, adhering to safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Install and erect steel frameworks for buildings, bridges, and other structures, utilizing cranes, hoists, and other heavy equipment.
- Read and interpret complex architectural and engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to guide fabrication and assembly processes. ## Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training in metal fabrication or carpentry is highly advantageous.
- Hold relevant certifications such as AWS (American Welding Society) for steel fitting or NCCER for carpentry.
- Demonstrate 3-5 years of hands-on experience in both structural steel fitting and carpentry within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for both steel and wood construction.
