Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport chilled, fresh, and prepared food products to designated locations.
- Maintain the required temperature inside the refrigerated/chiller vehicle throughout transportation.
- Ensure food is properly packed, secured, and protected during delivery.
- Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes efficiently.
- Load and unload food products carefully to prevent damage or contamination.
- Check delivery quantities against invoices, delivery notes, or dispatch lists.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards inside the chiller van at all times.
- Monitor and report any temperature issues or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Complete delivery documentation and obtain signatures or confirmation when required.
- Follow UAE traffic laws and company driving and safety policies.
- Carry out basic daily vehicle checks, including fuel, tires, refrigeration system, and general vehicle condition.
- Report accidents, vehicle damage, delays, or delivery issues to management immediately.
- Support the kitchen/operations team with loading, organizing, and dispatching orders when required.
- Ensure food products are handled according to company food safety and hygiene procedures. Requirements
- Valid UAE driving license appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- Previous experience as a delivery/chiller van driver, preferably within the F&B, catering, restaurant, or food distribution industry.
- Good knowledge of Dubai and UAE roads and delivery locations.
- Understanding of basic food handling and temperature-control requirements.
- Physically fit and able to load and unload food items.
- Reliable, punctual, and presentable.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays when required. Key Qualities
