- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline
- Preferred Certifications: PMP / PRINCE2 We are looking for a Project Manager – Drones / Robotics to manage technology deployment projects involving UAVs, robotics, IoT, and autonomous systems. The role requires strong project management capability along with practical understanding of drone operations, aviation approvals, safety, and technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of drone, robotics, IoT, or autonomous technology projects .
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, vendors, clients, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Support aviation approvals, flight permissions, operational safety, and risk assessments .
- Oversee drone deployment activities including mission planning, flight operations, payloads, sensors, and communications.
- Identify project risks, technical constraints, and operational dependencies.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, quality, and safety requirements.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Coordinate testing, deployment, implementation, and handover activities.
- Manage project documentation, change requests, issues, and action trackers.
- Support continuous improvement and lessons learned across technology deployment projects. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or related discipline .
- Experience within drones, UAVs, robotics, IoT, autonomous systems, aviation technology, or technology deployment preferred.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations, flight approvals, operational safety, and risk management .
- Practical understanding of:
- UAV / drone platforms
- Mission planning
- Payloads & sensors
- Communications systems
- Data workflows
- Operational constraints
- Strong stakeholder, vendor, and project coordination skills.
