Job Title: Barista Department: Food & Beverage Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / Manager Job Purpose: To prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and related products while maintaining excellent customer service, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare espresso-based beverages such as espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte, and mocha.
- Prepare hot and cold beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment.
- Grind coffee beans and ensure correct coffee dosage and extraction.
- Steam and texture milk correctly for different beverages.
- Maintain consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Take customer orders accurately and process them through the POS system.
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, equipment, counters, and storage areas.
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Check stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups, cups, and other beverage supplies.
- Inform the Supervisor about low stock, damaged equipment, or maintenance requirements.
- Store ingredients properly and check expiry dates.
- Minimize product wastage and follow portion-control standards.
- Assist with opening and closing the barista station.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
- Follow company policies, grooming standards, and operational procedures.
- Support the restaurant team during busy periods.

Requirements:

- Previous barista experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service.
- Ability to operate espresso machines and coffee grinders.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Knowledge of hygiene and food-safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. Work
