8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Weekly Off: Sunday Job Summary Vortexen Dynamics is looking for experienced Firestopping / Passive Fire Protection (PFP) Applicators to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and accurate execution of firestopping and PFP works at project sites while maintaining required quality, safety and project standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on firestopping and PFP installation at project sites.
- Apply fire-rated sealants, firestop collars, wraps, mortar, boards, coatings and other approved firestop systems.
- Prepare surfaces and openings before application.
- Follow approved drawings, method statements, product specifications and manufacturer instructions.
- Ensure proper application thickness, coverage and installation quality.
- Carry out firestopping works around MEP penetrations, joints, openings and service interfaces.
- Coordinate with supervisors and site teams to complete assigned work.
- Maintain good housekeeping and follow all site safety requirements.
- Identify and rectify defective or incomplete work.
- Report daily work progress and material requirements to the supervisor.
- Minimize material wastage and avoid unnecessary rework.
- Complete assigned activities within project schedules. Requirements
- Previous hands-on experience as a Firestopping Applicator, PFP Applicator, Firestop Installer, Passive Fire Protection Technician or similar role.
- Relevant experience in Firestopping / Passive Fire Protection is required.
- UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
- Experience in construction, MEP, oil & gas, industrial or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
- Basic ability to understand drawings, installation details and technical instructions.
- Knowledge of firestop/PFP materials and application methods.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Good attendance, discipline and work reliability.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards. Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience with firestopping/PFP contractors or competitor companies is preferred.
- Candidates should have practical site experience rather than only general construction experience.
- Candidates should be able to explain their previous projects, firestopping systems used and actual responsibilities.
- Reliable candidates with strong ownership and the ability to work without constant follow-up are preferred.
