Dubai, UAE Department: Production / Operations Position: Production Manager Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary GM STONE is looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to oversee and manage our natural stone production operations, including marble, travertine, limestone, quartzite, and other natural stone products. The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily production activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities at the factory.
- Manage the complete production process from material selection and cutting to fabrication, finishing, polishing, packing, and dispatch.
- Review approved shop drawings, cutting lists, BOQs, and project requirements before production.
- Coordinate with the Sales, QS, Design, Technical, Installation, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare production schedules and prioritize jobs according to project deadlines.
- Allocate manpower, machinery, materials, and resources efficiently.
- Monitor production progress and ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Supervise factory staff, fabricators, CNC operators, polishers, cutters, and other production personnel.
- Ensure all fabricated stone complies with approved samples, drawings, dimensions, finishes, and quality requirements.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and identify defects, damages, dimensional issues, and finishing problems.
- Minimize material wastage and optimize slab/block utilization.
- Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse teams regarding material availability and stock requirements.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, packing, and protection of finished stone products.
- Coordinate with the installation/site team for delivery and installation requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions quickly.
- Maintain proper production records, job cards, cutting lists, inspection reports, and dispatch documentation.
- Monitor machinery and equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs when required.
- Ensure factory operations comply with company HSE and safety procedures.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff.
- Monitor production costs, wastage, productivity, and overall operational efficiency.
- Provide regular production status updates to management.
- Continuously improve production processes, quality, productivity, and turnaround time. Required Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 5–8+ years of experience in natural stone, marble, granite, architectural stone, or a similar fabrication/manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of marble and natural stone fabrication processes.
- Experience with CNC cutting, bridge saws, polishing, edge profiling, waterjet, mitering, cut-to-size, and other stone fabrication processes.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, elevations, and cutting details.
- Strong manpower and production planning skills.
- Good knowledge of quality control and material optimization.
- Experience managing factory teams and subcontractors.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
- UAE/GCC experience in stone production and project-based manufacturing is an advantage. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be a hands-on production professional with strong natural stone fabrication experience, capable of managing both people and production processes. The candidate should be able to identify technical issues early, control wastage, maintain high-quality finishes, and ensure that all projects are delivered according to the required specifications and deadlines. Pay: AED3,825.17
