Role Description: The Senior Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Arab Emirates. This role involves installing, configuring, testing, and commissioning parking management systems, gate barrier systems, and related security equipment at client locations. The Senior Technician will diagnose and repair technical issues, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure systems operate according to specifications and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings and manuals, coordinating with project managers and engineers, preparing service reports, and providing on-site guidance to junior technicians. The role also includes supporting client training on system usage and collaborating with the operations team to improve service quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of automatic gate barriers and vehicle access control systems.
- Installation and troubleshooting of speed gates, turnstiles, and pedestrian access control systems.
- Installation and servicing of automatic bollards, road blockers, and other HVM systems.
- Installation and troubleshooting of sliding and swing gate motors.
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and control-system faults.
- Conducting site inspections and identifying technical issues.
- Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Performing testing and commissioning after installation or rectification.
- Coordinating with Project Engineers, Supervisors, and clients on-site.
- Guiding and supporting junior technicians during site work.
- Supporting client training on system usage and operation.
- Preparing service/maintenance reports and maintaining accurate documentation and service logs.
- Traveling to project sites across UAE and KSA as required. Preferred Technical Experience Experience with any of the following systems will be an advantage:
- CAME Gate Barriers
- Speed Gates
- Automatic Bollards
- Road Blockers
- Turnstiles
- Sliding/Swing Gate Motors
- Parking Management Systems
- Vehicle Access Control
- Long-Range/UHF Readers
- Access Control Systems
- Intercom Systems
- Loop Detectors and related accessories Requirements
- 1–2 years of relevant technical experience.
- Diploma/ITI, or a relevant technical diploma/degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field (preferred); industry certifications in security or low-current systems are an advantage.
- Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and fault-finding.
- Ability to read and interpret basic electrical/control drawings and equipment manuals.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, cabling, device connectivity) and familiarity with software-based control or monitoring platforms is a plus.
- Experience in installation and maintenance of security, automation, or parking management systems.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide junior technicians on-site.
- Willingness to travel and work on UAE & KSA projects.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
- KSA experience or willingness to work on KSA projects will be an advantage.
- Ready for site-based work and occasional travel. Pay: AED480.00
- AED3,000.00 per month Work
