NOW CLASSES is Hiring University Counsellor – USA, Canada & Australia

Location:
Dubai, UAE Employment: Full-time Department: University Counselling

Experience:
5+ years preferred NOW CLASSES is expanding its academic services and launching a dedicated University Counselling Division to support students applying to leading universities across the USA, Canada and Australia. We are looking for an experienced and student-focused University Counsellor who can guide students and families throughout the complete university admissions journey.

Key Responsibilities
Counsel students on university, course and career options Develop personalised university shortlists based on academic profile, interests, budget and career goals Manage undergraduate applications for the USA, Canada and Australia Guide students through application requirements, essays/personal statements and supporting documents Advise on scholarships and financial-aid opportunities Support students with interviews and admissions preparation Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions with students and parents Track applications, deadlines and offers Communicate with university admissions and international offices Develop and maintain relationships with universities Coordinate university visits, webinars, fairs and information sessions Help build and expand the NOW CLASSES University Counselling Division Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in university counselling, international admissions or a related field Strong knowledge of US, Canadian and Australian undergraduate admissions Experience counselling international students Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong parent/student counselling ability Ability to independently manage multiple student applications Good understanding of different curricula such as IB, IGCSE and A Levels Experience with: Competitive courses such as Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Business and Law Scholarships and financial aid International school students University partnerships University fairs and institutional relationships UAE/GCC student counselling What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is not simply an application processor. The ideal candidate should be able to assess a student's complete profile, create an appropriate university strategy, counsel the family realistically and manage the student through the entire admissions process. Someone with an established network of universities and experience developing institutional partnerships would be particularly valuable.
