- Monitor and enforce compliance with project HSE requirements and UAE safety regulations.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure safe execution of MEP works including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and testing & commissioning activities.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs for workers and staff.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, inspection records, and incident logs.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all site personnel.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors on safety matters.
- Review and implement Risk Assessments (RA), Method Statements (MS)
- Ensure emergency response procedures and first aid arrangements are maintained at all times.
- Participate in client and consultant safety audits and inspections.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in MEP and construction projects within the UAE.
- NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
- Valid IOSH Managing Safely/Working Safely certification preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, construction safety standards, and permit systems.
- Strong communication and reporting skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage site safety activities effectively. Pay: AED2,000.00
