We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to lead our Planning activities under our existing GCAA Part 145 approval. Our current approval covers Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance, Back-shop Services, and NDT Services. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in aircraft maintenance planning, regulatory compliance, and Part 145 operations, with the ability to lead and develop the Planning team, ensure smooth and efficient maintenance activities, and support the continued growth of our Maintenance organization. ##

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Planning function in accordance with GCAA Part 145 requirements and company procedures.
- Develop and maintain effective maintenance planning processes for Line, Base, Back-shop, and NDT activities.
- Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Technical Services, Materials, Quality, and other relevant departments.
- Ensure maintenance activities are properly planned, resourced, reported and scheduled to meet operational requirements IAW organisations procedures and standards.
- Monitor manpower, tooling, materials, and facility requirements to support planned maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, approved maintenance data, and company procedures.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory oversight activities related to the Planning function.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning efficiency, productivity, and overall maintenance performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Planning team.
- Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the Maintenance organization. ## Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Aircraft Maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related discipline.
- Recognized aircraft maintenance license or equivalent aviation technical qualification is highly desirable.
- Formal training in CAR 145 / aviation regulations.
- Training in maintenance planning and aircraft technical records.
- Knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and quality systems development and growth of a GCAA Part 145 Maintenance organization.
- Typically, 15+ years of aviation maintenance experience, with significant experience in maintenance planning.
- Previous experience in a CAR 145/MRO environment is required.
- Experience supervising or managing a maintenance planning team.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance programmes and scheduled maintenance requirements.
- Experience coordinating aircraft maintenance inputs and resource requirements.
- Experience with maintenance planning/ERP systems and aircraft technical records.
- Experience dealing with regulatory authorities, customers, operators, or auditors is advantageous. SKILLSET:
