SOPM Dubai is the newest chapter in that story: a modern music hub in Expo City built around practical musicianship, creativity and live performance. We want students to feel like musicians from day one. Alongside developing strong technique, our students learn to perform, collaborate with others, explore the music they genuinely enjoy and build real confidence as musicians. You will join a growing tutor team in Dubai, backed by experienced colleagues across established SOPM locations. As SOPM Dubai continues to grow, there will also be opportunities for tutors to become involved in new programmes, performances, events and projects. The role SOPM Dubai is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Piano Tutor and/or Vocal Tutor to join the team. You do not need to teach both piano and vocals. We welcome applications from specialist piano tutors, specialist vocal tutors, and tutors who are confident teaching both. You will deliver a mixture of one-to-one and group music sessions for children, teenagers and adults, helping students develop confidence, musicianship and a genuine love of making music. The exact mix of teaching will depend on your skills and experience. This may include private lessons, paired or small-group sessions, workshops, performance preparation and involvement in SOPM's wider group programmes.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred piano and/or vocal sessions
- Teach one-to-one, paired and group formats
- Adapt lessons to different ages, abilities, musical interests and goals
- Help students develop technique, musicianship, confidence and performance skills
- Support learners working towards performances, recordings or graded exams where appropriate
- Lead or support group sessions, workshops and live events
- Keep clear session notes and communicate student progress where required
- Work collaboratively with the wider tutor team and Centre Manager
- Help create a positive, inclusive and professional environment at SOPM Dubai About you Essential
- Strong performance skills in piano, vocals, or both
- Strong practical musicianship
- Comfortable working with children, young people and adults
- Able to communicate clearly and adapt your teaching to different ages and abilities
