Dubai About the Opportunity We are supporting an international consultancy with the appointment of a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing Dubai team. The role will lead electrical design across complex high-rise, cultural, residential and mixed-use developments throughout the GCC, taking projects from pre-concept through design development, IFC and authority approvals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design on complex high-rise, cultural, residential and mixed-use developments across the GCC
- Take projects from pre-concept through design development, IFC documentation and authority approvals
- Work directly with clients and take responsibility for the commercial and financial aspects of projects
- Lead and motivate a small Dubai-based and offshore design team
- Ensure designs comply with local authority requirements including DEWA, SEWA and Civil Defence
- Provide strong technical leadership and deliver high-quality electrical design packages Requirements
- 12+ years’ experience in electrical design, with strong UAE/GCC consultancy experience
- Excellent knowledge of local codes and authority requirements ( DEWA, SEWA, Civil Defence )
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Chartered (or actively working towards Chartered status) – preferred
- Proven ability to lead electrical design and manage commercial/financial project aspects
- Exceptional communication skills and strong technical capability
