Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, maintain, and administer database management systems.

• Recommend improvements to database administration processes, monitoring tools, and maintenance practices. Qualifications and Skills
• Diploma, degree, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience in database administration, database development, or IT infrastructure management is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of database platforms such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in SQL, database querying, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Understanding of database architecture, data structures, indexing, replication, and backup strategies.
• Familiarity with database security, access management, and recovery procedures.
• Experience with cloud database services and database monitoring tools is an advantage.
