The RoleWe are seeking a talented AI / Machine Learning Engineer to design, develop, and optimize intelligent systems that solve real-world problems. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with experience in machine learning algorithms, data processing, model evaluation, and AI application development. Working remotely on a part-time basis, you will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to develop machine learning solutions, improve model performance, and integrate AI capabilities into existing applications and workflows. You will contribute to practical AI initiatives while balancing technical innovation with reliability, scalability, and responsible development.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models for business and technical applications.
• Prepare, clean, transform, and analyze datasets to support model development and experimentation.
• Build and optimize predictive models, classification systems, recommendation engines, and other AI-driven solutions.
• Develop and maintain machine learning pipelines for data preparation, training, testing, and deployment.
• Apply appropriate statistical methods and performance metrics to evaluate model accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
• Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into applications, APIs, and existing technology systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, product teams, and business stakeholders to define project requirements.
• Monitor deployed models, identify performance issues, and support ongoing maintenance and improvement.
• Document technical approaches, experiments, model results, and implementation procedures.
• Follow best practices for data privacy, model security, responsible AI, and reproducible development.
• Research emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to identify opportunities for innovation. Requirements
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in AI engineering, machine learning, data science, or software development preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, model evaluation, and data preprocessing.
• Experience working with structured or unstructured datasets and developing data-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with SQL, APIs, version control systems, and model deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, MLOps tools, deep learning, or large language models (LLMs) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and collaborate effectively in a distributed team.
