Core services include installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems, fire sprinklers, fire hose reels, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting systems. Safex specializes in cost-effective fire system upgrades for older buildings, ensuring modern protection without major practical complications. Its solutions serve a wide range of facilities, including residential buildings, commercial towers, shopping malls, warehouses, factories, hotels, and hospitals, with a strong emphasis on understanding and meeting client needs. Role Description The Fire Alarm Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This role involves installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining fire alarm systems and related fire protection equipment in accordance with local codes and company standards. The technician will conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot system faults, perform repairs, and document all work performed. Day-to-day tasks include working with control panels, detectors, notification devices, wiring, and emergency lighting systems, as well as coordinating with project engineers, contractors, and clients. The role also includes ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining tools and equipment, and responding to service calls and emergency maintenance needs. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in installation, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems and associated fire protection equipment.
• Candidates should possess skills in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repair of electronic control panels, detectors, and notification devices.
• Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of local fire codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for fire and life safety systems.
• Candidates should possess skills in using electrical and electronic test tools, hand tools, and basic measurement equipment.
• Candidates should possess strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in fire alarm, electrical, or electronics engineering is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or similar role in fire and safety systems is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in various building types, adapt to field conditions, and follow safe work practices.
• Basic proficiency in documentation, service reporting, and use of common office or field service software.
