About the Role
Pactive Sustainable Solutions is looking for an experienced M&V Engineer to lead measurement and verification of energy savings across energy performance contracts and efficiency projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement IPMVP-based M&V plans (Options A, B, C, D) for ESCO and Energy Performance Contracts (EPC)
• Define measurement boundaries, baselines, and adjustment methodologies in line with contract requirements
• Build and validate regression/energy models, including routine and non-routine adjustments
• Calculate, verify, and reconcile guaranteed energy and cost savings against contractual targets
• Verify ECM installation and performance through site inspections, measurements, and monitoring
• Define metering, sub-metering, and BMS/EMS data requirements and ensure data quality
• Prepare periodic M&V and savings reports for clients, regulators, and management
• Support savings disputes and contract discussions with sound technical justification Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical/Energy Engineering or related field
• 4–6 years of experience in energy engineering, including hands-on M&V
• CMVP or PMVA certification (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of IPMVP and savings calculation methods
• Experience with ESCO/EPC savings guarantees and performance-based contracts
• Good understanding of HVAC, chillers, district cooling, lighting, controls, and utility tariffs
• Strong analytical, reporting, and client communication skills Preferred
• ESCO/EPC project experience in the UAE or GCC
• CEM certification
• Arabic speaking
