Role Description The Operations Analyst is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with the flexibility to perform some tasks remotely. The role focuses on supporting day-to-day chapter operations, including tracking key performance metrics, organizing activities and events, and coordinating with stakeholders across Saudi Arabia and the wider region. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing operational and membership data, preparing concise reports and dashboards, and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and member engagement. The Operations Analyst will assist with project coordination, documentation, and scheduling, as well as support communications and basic sales-related outreach for events and initiatives. This role collaborates closely with chapter leadership to ensure alignment with SFPE’s mission and local regulatory expectations. Qualifications
• Strong analytical skills for data collection, interpretation, and reporting, with the ability to translate findings into actionable operational insights.
• Clear and professional communication skills, including written and verbal abilities for stakeholder coordination, reporting, and member engagement.
• Experience or aptitude in operations management, including process tracking, workflow optimization, and general administrative support.
• Project management skills to plan, organize, and monitor chapter initiatives, events, and collaborative activities within defined timelines.
• Sales and outreach skills for supporting event promotion, membership growth, and partnership development in a professional, ethical manner.
• Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, online collaboration platforms); familiarity with basic data visualization is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and in a multicultural team environment, managing priorities in a hybrid work setting.
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in engineering, business, data analytics, or a related field is preferred; interest in fire protection or building safety sectors is beneficial.
• Understanding of or willingness to learn about Saudi fire and building safety regulations and industry practices.
