Role Description The Joinery Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role oversees joinery projects from concept through completion, coordinating design details, materials, production schedules, and installation activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines and budgets, supervising workshop and site teams, liaising with suppliers and logistics partners, and ensuring all joinery works meet design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. The Joinery Project Manager also conducts regular inspections, resolves technical and operational issues, and maintains clear communication with clients, designers, and internal stakeholders. The role requires proactive planning, detailed documentation, and hands-on involvement on site to deliver projects on time and to a high standard. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating joinery or interior fit-out projects.
• Candidates should possess expeditor and expediting skills to track materials, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of all project components.
• Candidates should possess inspection skills to verify workmanship, check compliance with design drawings and specifications, and uphold quality and safety standards on site.
• Candidates should possess logistics management skills to organize transportation, storage, and sequencing of materials and finished joinery items for efficient installation.
• Relevant experience in joinery, carpentry, or interior fit-out within high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality projects is strongly preferred.
• Strong technical understanding of joinery details, materials, finishes, and production processes, with the ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multicultural teams and clients.
• Proficiency in project management and documentation tools; familiarity with CAD or similar design software is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in construction management, architecture, interior design, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
