AJEX is jointly owned by Ajlan & Bros Holding Group and DHL eCommerce, providing a stable and growth-oriented environment for logistics professionals. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Light Vehicle Driver role based in Dubai. The Light Vehicle Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport parcels and goods within assigned routes, following traffic laws and AJEX safety standards. Daily tasks include loading and unloading shipments, verifying documentation, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep. The role also involves interacting with customers and facility staff in a professional manner, reporting any incidents or delays, and coordinating with dispatch to optimize routes. The driver will be expected to complete required logs and reports accurately and support warehouse and yard operations when needed. Qualifications
• Strong light vehicle driving skills, with experience in truck driving or similar commercial vehicle operations where relevant.
• Atleast 1 year of experience as a delivery driver in UAE.
• Valid UAE light vehicle driving license.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, team members, and customers.
• Customer service skills, with a professional and respectful approach when handling deliveries and client interactions.
• Knowledge of local roads and basic route planning; familiarity with GPS and navigation tools.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, handle packages with care, and complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and load parcels as required; willingness to work flexible hours and shifts.
• Previous experience in logistics, courier, or e-commerce distribution is preferred.
