Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Director, Facilities Asset Management to lead facilities and asset management operations across multiple destinations at Miral Experiences. This role is responsible for ensuring facilities and infrastructure assets operate safely, reliably and efficiently, with a strong focus on asset performance, maintenance, compliance, contractor management and operational delivery. In this role, you will:
• Lead facilities and asset management operations across assigned sites.
• Oversee Hard Services and Soft Services Divisions, including HVAC, BMS, electrical, pumping systems, water treatment, fire & life safety and other critical infrastructure.
• Lead preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize asset availability and minimize operational disruption.
• Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets, ensuring effective cost control and lifecycle planning.
• Lead asset renewal, refurbishment and facilities improvement projects.
• Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring performance against agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, statutory, regulatory and company requirements.
• Monitor asset performance, maintenance effectiveness and risks through CMMS/CAFM systems.
• Partner with Operations, Projects, Technical Services, HSE and Procurement to support operational requirements.
• Lead and develop facilities and engineering teams, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support operational readiness and asset handovers for new developments and attractions.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset reliability, energy efficiency and lifecycle costs. What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant Facilities Management, Engineering or Asset Management experience, with strong exposure to technical maintenance and complex facilities operations.
• At least 5 years of experience leading engineering, maintenance, contractor or technical teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, BMS, electrical systems, pumping systems, water treatment and fire & life safety systems.
• Strong experience in preventive maintenance, asset management, CAPEX/OPEX and contractor management.
• Experience with CMMS/CAFM systems, such as IBM Maximo or similar.
• Previous experience within theme parks, attractions, hospitality or another complex/regulated operational environment is highly desirable.
• CFM or another relevant professional facilities certification would be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, commercial and problem-solving skills.
