About the Role
ShineOn Cleaning Services is looking for an experienced, hands-on Operations Supervisor who is passionate about cleaning standards, team development and delivering exceptional service. This is not a desk-based supervisory position. We are looking for someone who enjoys being out in the field, working alongside cleaners, travelling between properties and leading by example. You will be actively involved in daily cleaning operations across Dubai, whether that means assisting cleaners with turnovers, conducting quality inspections, correcting cleaning issues or demonstrating the right techniques to the team. Your primary responsibility will be to improve cleaning quality, strengthen team performance and ensure every property meets ShineOn's hospitality standards. Key Responsibilities
1. Hands-On Cleaning & Daily Operations
• Travel with the cleaning team between holiday homes and residential properties across Dubai.
• Actively participate in cleaning apartments, villas and holiday homes, particularly during busy operational periods.
• Lead by example, demonstrating proper cleaning techniques, attention to detail and efficient working practices.
• Support the Operations Coordinator with daily schedules, team allocation and operational challenges.
• Ensure cleaning assignments are completed on time without compromising quality.
• Step in wherever necessary to support cleaners and maintain smooth daily operations. 2. Quality Inspections & Standards
• Conduct regular quality inspections and random spot checks across completed units.
• Identify minor and major cleaning issues and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly.
• Inspect cleanliness, presentation, linen, amenities and overall property readiness.
• Review cleaning photographs and checklists submitted through ShineOn Flow.
• Investigate cleaning-related complaints, identify recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
• Monitor cleaning speed, productivity and individual cleaner performance.
• Take ownership of continuously improving cleaning quality and reducing client complaints and re-cleans. 3. Team Training & Development
• Provide practical, on-the-job training to cleaners across all cleaning tasks.
• Coach employees who need improvement in cleaning quality, speed or attention to detail.
• Develop and maintain cleaning SOPs, inspection checklists and quality standards.
• Conduct regular refresher training and individual performance assessments.
• Promote a positive, accountable and supportive team environment. 4. Inventory & Equipment Management
• Monitor the use and availability of cleaning chemicals, equipment, linen and amenities.
• Ensure cleaners use equipment and chemicals correctly and safely.
• Maintain inventory records and report shortages, damaged equipment or wastage.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors when required. 5. Operational Coordination
• Work closely with the Operations Coordinator to manage daily cleaning priorities.
• Provide timely updates on completed cleans, inspection results and operational challenges.
• Resolve on-site quality issues before they escalate into client complaints.
• Support management with operational improvements, new property onboarding and client requirements. What We're Looking For
• Minimum 5 years of UAE housekeeping experience, preferably in hotels, serviced apartments or holiday homes, including supervisory experience.
• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, Cleaning Supervisor, Executive Housekeeper or similar position.
• Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
• Willingness and ability to drive and accompany cleaning teams between properties across Dubai.
• A genuinely hands-on approach — someone who is comfortable cleaning alongside the team rather than only supervising.
• Strong knowledge of professional cleaning techniques, chemicals, equipment and hospitality cleaning standards.
• Proven experience conducting quality inspections and training housekeeping employees.
• Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cleaning locations in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using mobile applications, digital checklists and reporting tools.
