Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in Core Laboratory disciplines, including Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, and Immunology.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of laboratory results.
• Adhere to quality assurance, infection control, and patient safety standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and accreditation activities.
• Maintain compliance with DHA, CAP, JCI, and organizational standards.
• Support continuous improvement and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or equivalent.
• Valid DHA License/Eligibility as a Laboratory Technologist is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of recent Core Laboratory experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Experience in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Coagulation testing.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory quality systems and accreditation requirements.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in a UAE-based JCI-accredited healthcare facility is highly preferred.
• Experience with laboratory automation and laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Familiarity with CAP/JCI accreditation standards.
